Human Resource – Powerpoint

Students will prepare a detailed MS PowerPoint presentation by the assigned
due date. The capstone presentation will consist of a written MS PowerPoint
presentation on the topic of your choice. You MUST receive approval from
your professor prior to commencement of work on your project.
Student MS PowerPoint presentations are required to be 25 to 30 slides in
length. Submit as a MS PowerPoint (.ppt) only. No other format is
acceptable. If I cannot open it, then the document will receive a zero.
Since I am your sole audience, the MS PowerPoint presentation must be
sufficiently detailed with facts, figures and appropriate data on your chosen
topic. You have a wide latitude to be creative with your PowerPoint to include
appropriate photos and pictures, exhibits, figures, graphs, and other
augmentation materials. Ensure that your font sizes are large enough to be
legible. Ensure that you have sufficient color contrast between your fonts and
the overall background color of the presentation. Try to be creative and
imaginative with your presentation, but ensure that it looks professional.
Your MS PowerPoint presentation should be worthy of presentation to a board
of directors, executives or trustees of an institution. Run spell check as
misspelled words can be embarrassing (and your audience will notice).
In accordance with APA requirements, you are directed to prepare a
complete References list and insert into your presentation as your last
slide(s). You cannot list an authoritative resource unless it has been used at
least once within the presentation. Conversely, every parenthetically cited
resource within the presentation must then appear on the list of References.
Direct quotes or paraphrased materials must have parenthetical citations
inserted at the point at which you use materials from your resources. In
other words, you must utilize parenthetical citations on every individual slide
where you actually use materials from your authoritative resources to avoid
plagiarism. APA is author/year format as in (Taylor, 2020) for paraphrased
materials, or (Taylor, 2020, p. 123) for a direct quote from a specific page.
Provide a minimum of 20 authoritative resources.
Upload your completed MS PowerPoint presentation onto Canvas by the
assigned due date.
Please note that your MS PowerPoint and your APA Formal Research Paper
are on the SAME topic or subject. You are not pursuing two different topics.
