Advanced Quantitative Methods for Causal Inference(Quantitative research)

I have selected Option 1. You can find good examples attached

Select any article published from 2010 onwards in one of the journals listed below which
makes a clear causal claim (as indeed most articles do) and write a critical review that is no
more than 2500 words long. Please contact the module convener if you would like to discuss
the appropriateness of a candidate article for the review you are planning to write.
The review should include the following components. (This structure is suggestive, not
binding. Feel free to adopt something different if you think that that will help write a better
review).
1. Plain-English summary:
Using non-technical language, clearly explain the context of the article, the causal
claim(s) it sets out to answer, the data used, and the main conclusions.
2. A detailed discussion of the method(s) adopted:
Discuss the methods chosen by the authors to make their causal claim(s), paying close
attention to explaining the assumptions that these methods depend on. Try to
distinguish between the information the authors provide on this front and between your
own knowledge of the assumptions required.
3. Your assessment of the validity of the causal claims being made, and what could have
been done differently:
