Analyse the case study (link below) against the proofs of larceny as outlined in section 117 of the NSW Crimes Act No. 40/1900. In your case study report, you must address the following:
1. Identify the proofs of larceny and whether they have been satisfied in relation to the case study.
2. Explain how police in NSW must apply LEPRA if they intend to question, search, arrest or caution a suspect.
3. Identify the alternatives that are available to police when dealing with the issues in this case study. Examples include (but are not limited to) arrest, Court Attendance Notice, etc. Justify which is the most appopriate way to deal with the issues of alleged theft, using LEPRA and rule of law criteria.
4. Quotes and sources must be referenced appropriately. A minimum of five references are required, with WSU Harvard Referencing Guidelines to be used.
