Answer must be related to the content of chapter 11-13 from the slides and this book: https://open.lib.umn.edu/principlesmarketing/front-matter/publisher-information/
In your groups, discuss how the information presented in the article relates to what you are learning in Unit 4. Specifically, consider questions such as:
Who are the target audiences of these campaigns?
What message strategy would you suggest for reaching these audiences? What would your message theme be? Why?
What combination of at least 3 advertising appeals might be used in these campaigns? Why do you think these would be the most effective?
Are there any advertising appeals that marketers implementing these campaigns should probably avoid? If so, which ones? If not, why not?
Given the target audiences, what recommendations would you make for spokespeople for these ads? Why?
Be sure that, in addition to answering the questions above, you fulfill the requirements outlined in the Syllabus and Rubric:
Make ties between what we are learning and (1) the real-world application of marketing and (2) marketing’s impact on society
Be sure to use correct terminology from class
Attempt not only to speak into the ether but to write in a way that fosters conversation
Adhere to the rules of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and capitalization).
Finally: Please make sure that your posts do not violate the Course’s Rules of Engagement (see the Syllabus). I am aware that people have differing opinions on Covid-19 and the vaccines. However:
I have chosen these articles to help you translate what you’re learning via the lens of a current event.
You will soon graduate from college; you should be able to have polite and professional conversations with people who see the world differently from you.
These posts are not about your personal opinions or beliefs; they are about how well you can utilize what you’ve learned to assess a given topic.
To that end, please attempt to stick to the content of the course as much as possible and always be respectful of other people. Students that make offensive, derogatory, or inflammatory posts will be removed from their group, forfeiting the Discussion points, and might be removed from the class completely.
