Write a paper about the American Nurses Association. Growing up I had always wanted to be a nurse. Now that I have accomplished my dream, I decided to join The ANA so that I can continue to make a difference on a global level. Working as a nurse it is important to have qualities like compassion, teamwork, and leadership. It is important to build trust and to always work in an ethical manner. Many people do not remember you for what you did but for how you made them feel, especially in their time of need. I would use both a web-based portfolio and a document. This will ensure that my information is readily available online to any job recruiters. I would like a document portfolio because I am a hands-on person. If I go in for an interview I would rather have the portfolio document with me so that I could present it to the employer. But during the process of the interview, I would also mention that I have a web-based portfolio available. In the event that the computer system crashes or the company`s internet goes down, I will have my paper document in hand and ready. Personally, I believe that both a web-based and document portfolio could be beneficial to me at any time in my career
