Explore how the ancient myth has changed to be relevant to modern times. Include Quotes from the writers, actors and directors. Cite sources.
Second step is to Choose a second movie (or series) that explores the epic heroic journey. Be sure that there is
enough relevant mythology in the film to explore. Identify the original myth/legend/characters being employed. Explore the impact that mythology, including heroic archetypes, have on the film.

Third step is … In an additional paragraph or two or as part of your conclusion –whichever option feels
more effective to you—include your own definition of a hero and identify modern instances,
from current events, social media, or recent shows or sporting events where the concept of
“hero” has been used or misused, especially in relation to the classic definition of the term.
Your essay should include:
v Proper spelling and formatting (including double-spacing);
v A unique title and strong thesis statement that references both films being explored;
v A compelling closing paragraph that considers the implications of mythical influence
on media and film;
v Parenthetical MLA citations and a Works Cited Page.
