So, for this workshop, open YouTube and type the words “Single-Case Designs” and it should show dozens of videos to choose from. You can also use similar keywords to search for relevant videos. Read pages 419 – 445 from the article, Evaluating Cognitive-behavioral Treatment of Schizophrenia: Four Single-case Studies.

For your Assignment activity:
Identify an “actual” client that you plan on evaluating for your practice evaluation plan.
Describe your client’s background in general terms (e.g., ethnicity, age, gender, family background).
Define and describe your client’s problem of interest in general terms, including a discussion of the client problem’s epidemiology (prevalence) and its etiology (causes).
Define and describe at least one intervention to deal with the client’s problem.
State your intervention hypothesis that is based on the foregoing discussion.
Also stating the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable.
This assignment should be 3-4 pages in length.

Client is a single white male the age of 42 came to treatment with stimuate use disorder, opiates use disorder, and has used since the age of 17. Client has Overdosed three times, and has three charges against him getting ready to go to court this month for his charges. He is seeking treatment to help him maintain sobority. Client is homesless and does not have any sober support but his bother. Both parents are actively using meth and drinks 30 pack of beer daily. We live in Eastern part of Kentucky
