3. Write an essay about a particular piece of propaganda that you found (it could be the front page of a newspaper, a poster, a cartoon, a song, or a short film) and discuss why you think this piece persuaded Americans to go to war with Spain. Did it appeal to American patriotism? Did it play upon fears or anxieties that Americans had at this time?
