Was the French Revolution or Industrial Revolution more impactful on Europe? Why? In answering this question, compare and contrast the causes, development, and major consequences of each during the 18th and 19th centuries.

The essay should be 3-4 pages in length. You do not need a title page or a works cited page.

DO NOT PLAGIARIZE your answer. This includes copying phrases, sentences, or ideas from non-course websites. This essay should be based on course materials and your own thoughts. It is therefore not necessary or encouraged to use outside sources, though if you do, you must provide a citation for the information. Failure to do so will result in an automatic zero on the exam.
Do not simply copy and paste your posts from earlier modules into the essay – you can of course draw on similar ideas and examples, but the essays should consist of original written material.
If you wish to quote phrases or entire sentences from one of our course readings, a simple parenthetical citation will suffice. For instance, if you use a quote from the textbook, then simply add (Wiesner-Hanks, 175) after the quote.
Remember to craft an essay that is well organized and contains a compelling, original argument that is supported by concrete examples from the course materials. Be sure to explain the examples given and how they relate back to the essay’s argument.
