Citing Reference Sources: ALL sources, including the course textbooks, used in developing any work in this course should be cited in APA format – i.e. author, date of publication, etc. within the response. Include a full reference at the end of the response. Direct quotes in assignments should be very limited. Paraphrase instead. Quotes (verbatim words from a source) should be limited to less than 40 words per discussion response and indicated as quotes by enclosing in quotation marks. The quote should be followed by the source – i.e. author, year of publication, page or paragraph number, in parentheses.
