Currently 29 states have more type of casino gaming either allowed by the state government or on Native American lands. The state of Georgia is now is being considerered for casino gaming and sports betting. Northern Georgia, Atlanta Metro, Columbus, and Savannah/Brunswick regions are all being considered as potential sites for casino resorts. It did not pass the most recent legislative session and will now be reintroduced in the next session.
