Write a formal letter to your legislator on illicit drug usage that you deem important to you and your community.
Your letter should address only one issue per letter and identify the subject in the first paragraph. Relate information to the legislator’s constituents, be constructive, be courteous, and respectful. Start each communication with your name and address so as to identify yourself as a constituent. In the text of the letter, explain your position as a Nursing student and how the issue you are writing about affects you. You should provide a clear description of your concern with pertinent examples, facts and/or story to support how and/or why they hold their beliefs or thoughts regarding the issue. Writing should befocused, concise without omitting important details; points presented in a logical manner with smooth transitions.
