(Muscle fatigue and repeated sprint performance lab report)

You
are required to write a laboratory report of approximately 2000 words
based upon the data provided on blackboard.

Your
report must be written and styled using standard scientific writing
guidelines. As you read the journal articles take a note of the
structure this will aid you in developing this skill.

Raw
data for this reassessment will be made available on blackboard.

The
following is an outline of what you should include/consider within
your report. It is not an exhaustive list.

If
you have any questions with respect to this work, please ask!!!!!

Introduction,
aims and hypotheses:

A
brief review of literature including relevant data/findings of other
authors.
Focus
on peripheral muscle fatigue and repeated sprint and specifically on
the effects of pH and Pi as in the lab.
State
the specific aims of the investigation and any hypotheses you may
have had before collecting data.
You
must reference original journal articles.

Methods:

Not
a copy of the laboratory handout and avoid using lists!
Include
details of equipment used, who was it made by? What model is it?
Make
reference to the statistical analysis performed on the data.

Results:

Include
two graphs power vs sprint effort and lactate vs sprint effort
Make
sure you include a written description for the results.
Make
sure you produce a legend to your graphs as well as including the
relevant units!

Discussion:

Remember
any previously stated aims and hypotheses whilst discussing your
results.
How
does your data compare with that of previously reported in the
literature? Explain why there is a difference or why there is not a
difference.

Conclusions:

Accept
or refute any hypotheses previously stated.
State
what can be concluded from the analysis and discussion of the data
collected in this investigation.

References:

To
be cited using the Harvard referencing system.
At
least 6-12 original journal articles plus relevant texts.

Appendices:

Your
raw data (available on blackboard) and sample calculations
Plus
put your SPSS output
Do
not use a question and answer format, integrate the above into your
work. Remember this is not an exhaustive list. What do you think is
relevant?

Please
make this double spaced and font size 12. It makes it easier to read!
