1. Discuss three specific
groups (including the type of group) you’re a part of and that you plan to use
for your socialization autobiography, tell me your status within each group,
and why each of the groups are important to you.
2. Share one component of culture that’s
specific for each group and identify each component as symbolic or material
culture.
3. For each group, describe how class/gender/or
race has been experienced or socially constructed for you or others that are a
part of the groups (we’ll be covering these topics in the next few weeks).
