Select from the following disorders: bipolar disorder, dementia, Tourette’s Disorder, or schizophrenia. Prepare a PowerPoint for college seniors enrolled in an Abnormal Psychology course who are preparing for an exam on psychological disorders.

First, introduce and define the chosen disorder. Next, identify its symptoms & characteristics. Follow this up with information about its etiology, i.e., is it biologically based? Environmentally based?
Identify what brain regions and neurotransmitters are affected/involved in the disorder?
Next, address known risk factors including whether the disorder disproportionally affects certain populations such as a specific gender, age group, or ethnicity.
Finally, identify and discuss at least two current treatments and discuss how effective each is.
