The air transportation industry impacts the environment in many different ways. Concerns regarding air quality, emissions, water quality, and noise have been and continue to be addressed by airport operators and federal and local regulators. In this assignment you will have the opportunity to voice your opinion about the use of environmental regulations in the aviation industry.
Complete this assignment by doing the following:
By Wednesday, discuss your position on use of environmental regulations in the aviation industry. Consider such regulations as aviation taxes, landing fees, manufacturer guidelines, land use, and curfews. Create an augment that includes the following:
Define an environmental issue with which you are concerned.
Provide a regulatory solution that helps diminish or eliminate the issue.
Explain why you feel this solution would work. Back up your explanation with research. (For example, has someone done a pilot study or enacted a similar regulation? Did it work?)
Cite the source of your research.
