How your federal representatives vote on conservation issues

Go to the League of Conservation Voters Scorecard. It is user friendly. You can spend a few minutes poking through the links to find out the information for this extra credit assignment. For a total of up to 4 points extra credit complete the following:
Write down the names of your two U.S. Senators and your House of Representatives congress-person and their party affiliation. Use the “Find your Member of Congress” box on the right-hand side of the page. (1 pt)
Pick two climate change issues for 2021 in either the House OR the Senate and complete the following: (2 pts)
write down the name of the two legislations (“vote name”)
write down how your two senators or your representative voted for each of the two vote issues
Click on the “All members of Congress Scores (Links to an external site.)” link on the right-hand navigation column of the 2021 Scorecard and scroll down through the various members of congress. The higher the percentage score, the more times a congressperson votes for environmentally favorable legislation. A low percentage means the congressperson rarely or never votes for environmentally favorable legislation. Complete the following: (1 pt)
