Write a 3 page double spaced paper to address the following task. Start by selecting a public health problem of interest. In this paper you will develop a SMART objective to address the problem of interest. You will need to create a basic community based intervention program to address the problem first. Then, utilizing the program conceived, develop a short-term outcome (see figure 8-3 in the textbook) using the SMART objective model.
In your introduction paragraph, introduce the problem of interest and describe the community based intervention program. Include your SMART objective as part of this paragraph. Next, include a paragraph to address each of the SMART components. Use the questions in Table 8-10 from the textbook to guide you in developing the content presented in each paragraph. In your conclusion, summarize the problem, program, and how this objective will help in the assessment of desired program outcomes.
You will need to include a minimum of 3 references for this paper. One can be the textbook. You may find the recommended reading resources provided in the module useful in the development of your SMART objective. Grading will be based on your development and understanding of SMART objective components, not the development or implementation of the program conceived to address your public health problem.
