Health promotion major ( community health)

Personal Statement: Please submit your typed, 12 pt font, double spaced, minimum 2-3 page personal statement with your application. Your statement should demonstrate your careful reflection of your desire to complete a degree in Health Promotion and your chosen specialization. This statement should include your personal goals related to the profession, your preparation for upper division experiences in the department, as well as self assessment of your personal strengths and challenges. Please address the following:
1) Interest in Health Promotion and your Chosen Specialization.
Why have you selected to pursue a degree in Health Promotion and your particular specialization?
What factors have influenced this decision?
2) If you have at any point demonstrated behaviors that would be viewed as unprofessional during your time as an Health Promotion student (including a pattern of tardiness and being unprepared for classes, lack of time management, lack of professionalism in both oral and written communications including emails and conversations with professors and staff, lack of response to faculty and department emails, challenges with professional writing and presentation) – what are your plans to manage and correct these in order to be considered for placement?
