Medium/Format Choices:
SWAY – this is a program that you have access to via your Microsoft suite. It’s very similar to PowerPoint, but it more easily integrates videos and images, and it looks more like a website. A quick Google search will yield some examples
Listicle: you’ve likely read a ton of these “clickbate” type articles. You’ll connect your list by a theme, and use images and text to develop your reflective vignettes.
Think of this project as a collage—you will interweave or arrange sections of the following in a thoughtful organization that best expresses the impact of your work this semester, and, like a film editor or dance choreographer, you can create meaning through your choice of arrangement:
(a) reflective writing (meaningful snapshots of your experience juxtaposed or linked by content, language, etc…)
(b) audio and video clips and images from or relating to your research and learning
(c) text from your projects and any secondary research sources exploring the larger context of your issue or topic
If you have another medium you’d rather use, go for it! I’m looking for words and images/videos to communicate your learning.
Length: minimum 500 (NON-Plagiarized) words written text enhanced with audio/visual components
Style: web documentation style. You’ll use hyperlinks if you use outside sources. You don’t need a formal works cited or resources page as long as you credit your sources with a signal phrase or/and hyperlink.an write about another class, you can focus on one of your projects and talk about what you learned–either content or craft. You can talk about your writing process or your research process.
