Informative Speech about Fatal Injury

Instructions
(THIS IS A 5 MINUTE SPEECH ALONG WITH AN OUTLINE I MUST GET TWO SEPARATE ASSIGNMENT)

Your task is to write and deliver a 5-minute informative speech. Choose an informative topic, do your own research and construct an original speech.

How To Construct Your Speech
Choose your topic. Keep in mind the interest and knowledge of you and your audience.
An attention getter is the first part of our speech and how we should begin. So, we do not begin our speech by sharing our name, speech topic or title. We start our speech by telling a story, sharing a startling statistic, giving a dramatic illustration
Use the library and the Internet to search for 3 credible sources. Credible sources include (but are not limited to): newspapers, magazines, books, original data from professional journals, and credible websites. PLEASE DO NOT use or cite Wikipedia, blogs, WebMD, About.com as they are not credible sources of information.
Organize your main points in a meaningful pattern.
Add evidence from your sources to support your main points and add any additional explanations, stories or examples. Be sure to cite sources in your outline and, orally in the presentation. Sources should be cited in MLA or APA format. For examples of MLA & APA citations, please consult the documents labeled “MLA examples” and “APA examples” on Canvas. You must have at least two sources
Write your outline using full sentences and paying attention to the correct format and include a reference page. (I’LL ATTACH AN EXAMPLE OF HOW THE OUTLINE SHOULD BE)

Speech Outline
You will be constructing and submitting an outline along with your speech presentation. Your outline should be written in full sentences and should follow the hierarchal roman numeral and letter or number format discussed in module 2 and our textbook. (STAND UP SPEAK UP)
Here is an example outline. Please use this as a template and follow the structure very closely
Please submit your outline separately to the Major Speech 1 Informative Speech Outline assignment. Your outline grade will be a part of your major speech 1 grade (even though you will submit your video and outline separately).
