Write a report in which you reflect on what you have learnt from the project over the course of the second half of the module.

There are two coursework components. The AV presentation of your project (35% of your module grade) and a reflective essay about your learning (15% of your module grade). Both components are individual assignments.

Audio Visual (AV) presentation (Can be more than 10 slides if needed)
Title: Presentation of a project which applies psychology to your chosen scenario.
“How can psychology be used to support a city preparing for/during/after a natural disaster?”
Create a virtual AV presentation that effectively communicates your suggestions for applying psychological knowledge to understanding and addressing a problem within your chosen scenario.
Credit is given for expressing your ideas clearly and concisely and demonstrating that you have applied and understood the psychological content.
An AV presentation can take many forms but is most typically presented with slides (i.e, Microsoft PowerPoint) with a voice-over.
Applications of knowledge
• The described proposal or intervention:
o Applies course material and demonstrates an understanding of
that material;
o Applies appropriate additional research on the scenario;
o Seems likely to be effective in understanding and addressing the
problem.
o Is specific to the scenario.
Presentation skills 1
• The presentation is:
o Effective, overall, in its communication;
o Formatted appropriately (including references);
o Free from typographic errors or similar mistakes;
o Well-designed to achieve impact and clarity of communication

Reflective essay
Title: Reflection on your learning from the project
Write a report in which you reflect on what you have learnt from the project over the course of the second half of the module. Your report should include direct psychological content (i.e., the content you considered as part of the development of your project AND what you have learnt from developing a project and presenting it). You should discuss the development of your project and consider what lessons you have learned to take forward to your next project.
The commentary should be in the form of a written paper of no more than 1,250 words (images can be included if required).
Credit will be given for:
Demonstrating your understanding of how psychological content can be applied to a topic;
Demonstrating your ability to reflect on the development of the project
