Discuss the difference between PCI DSS and GLBA, sox and Hippa is it deals with payment card data.

Part 1: Sometimes excessive regulations can have unintended consequences. Regulations can make the growth of innovation. growth of the economy then slows down. Regulations are usually intended to protect parts of society that are lower income or regressive parts of society. Having higher levels of regulations can lead to a slower timeline for wage increases. Prices for goods increase and small business bare the burden of the fallout. For every ten percent of regulation, there is a 1 percent increase for goods. Households need to spend more on goods and services making it tougher to budget. Goods and services also include electric and gas services. It affects everything in society when regulations slow the growth of the economy.

One example of the consequences of regulations is in the medical field. Inhalers, used for breathing disabilities, are made with propellants called chlorofluorocarbons. Chlorofluorocarbons have been banned by the FDA (food and drug administration). The FDA banned them to try to reduce the impact on the environment due to the propellants used. This resulted in inhalers tripling in price, making it harder for Americans to get the medicine they need, due to price. This affects people who must choose between getting food and paying bills or having their medicine. Needs a reply

Part 2: HIPPA stands for Health insurance portability and accountability act. HIPPA is one of the leading privacies in the world of health care. So, with HIPPA you need to access audit and have inventory controls. You also need a person of authentication to verify the right information because you could have imposter who pretend to be somebody else. We all have HIPPA rights, and we need to comply with it. Sox stands for Sarbanes Oxley act. Sox encrypts all sensitive financial data, protecting it from a person who does not have access to it. GLBA stands for Gramm- leach Biley act. GLBA focuses on the financial institution with data. The first thing, they must do is protect the customer at all costs. GLBA, Sox and HIPPA are all different. GLBA handles the money while hIppa handles the health side of things. Sox also handles the data stuff too.
4) the difference between PCI DSS and GLBA, sox and Hippa is it deals with payment card data. Some payment cards include Visa, Mastercard, debit and credit cards. PCI DSS applies to any organization which is different from the others. you also needs a reply
