For this critical writing assignment, I would like for you to “find” sociology in your everyday life. Specifically, what general patterns of behavior do you notice in specific individuals? In other words, as you walk around on campus, work at your job, interact with your friends/family, go to the movies, etc., what sociological patterns of behavior do you see? For example, people responding to a sneeze with the comment “bless you,” individuals holding a door for someone entering a building behind them, and students raising their hand before asking a question.
Obviously the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted how much you may be interacting with others and where you may be going. Think about how the pandemic has impacted patterns of behavior at a macro and micro level.
