Discussion Prompt: Gaining Counseling Knowledge and Skills
In Exodus 35:30-35, the Lord called Bezalel by name and filled him with the Spirit of God. In doing this, God gave Bezalel wisdom, understanding, and knowledge for all kinds of craftsmanship. He was empowered to work with precious metals, design artistically with jewels, and carve wood—all of this for the purpose of building the tabernacle for the Israelites during the journey to the Promised Land. He also gave him the ability to teach. Referring to Bezalel (who was 13 years old at the time!) and of Oholiab, verse 35 says that “He has filled them with skill to do all manner of work of the engraver and the designer and the tapestry maker… and of the weaver” (NKJV).
