What you should do instead is explain, deconstruct, interrogate, and criticize.

1. A PowerPoint presentation is needed
2. The presentation should be short and snappy.
3. Don’t fill your slides with text only and read off your presentation. Make the text on your slides short and easy to read.
4. As much as possible, use graphs, pictures, and cartoons instead of text.
5. The presentation itself should be around 10 to 15 minutes, not longer or shorter.
6. Don’t summarize chapters or readings!
7. What you should do instead is explain, deconstruct, interrogate, and criticize
8. Above all, try to understand and critically reflect on the specific chapter/article you are presenting.
9. Ask yourself: what are the key arguments that the author is making? What is the logic behind these argument(s)? What are the implications? And so on..
