Hey AVIA 105! My name is Sam Kelsey, I am located in the Bay Area in Northern California. I recently got out of the Coast Guard after a four year tour at a search and rescue unit in San Francisco. When not flying or studying, I enjoy the outdoors, homebrewing and music. I am pursuing a BS in aviation from liberty My current job is school and I am totally focused on that. I am hoping to work part time this semester now that my instrument rating is nearing its completion and I have more time. After this course, I plan to continue pursuing my certifications through liberty with the goal of flying professionally one day. I am a student of history, and consider myself fairly well versed in the history of aviation, however I am certain there are tidbits that are completely unfamiliar to me and would love to learn how these people and events influenced the spread and development of aviation in the United States and across the world!
