Write an essay that focuses on a single
important event or experience in your life that
had a significant impact on shaping you as an
individual and how you see the world. The aim of
the narrative should be to involve the reader’s
feelings and thoughts as much as possible and to
make them feel as if they are
“in the moment”
with you. With all narratives, your essay should have a
clearly defined beginning, middle and end. You also
need to plan, draft and edit your essay before you submit
it for a grade. Please note that you are required to
submit both a draft and a final copy of your
essay. Your narrative essay must contain the following
elements and be typed in MLA format:
