Respond

Respond to these essays with a submission consisting of 100-300 words of original writing (total).
This response should NOT be a summary of the essays, but should, instead, respond to the opinions and claims set forth by the authors.
While you are free to respond to these in whatever way you see fit, your response could (but is not required to) respond to some of the following questions:
What do you agree/disagree with and why?
How are these essays in conversation with each other, if at all?
How do these essays encourage you to think differently about the relationship between editing and storytelling?
Are the mediums of cinema and the graphic novel unique in their ability to use cuts?
Again, these are only sample questions to get you started. You are free to respond to these text in whichever way you see fit. Just don’t limit your response to summary of the material. That being said, feel free to include quotes if necessary.

Don’t cite resources beyond the uploaded materials.
