Personal Statement and short answer questions

Part one: Personal Statement
Your statement should explain why you are interested in pursuing a graduate education in the concentration chosen and specifically why you have chosen to apply to this online program at Tufts University. Your statement should also address your career goals and how this program will help you to achieve them.

Please limit your statement to 1000 words or fewer.
HINT: Concentration chosen is Maters of Public Health: Epidermiology and Biostatistics. I did my indergraduate in Biotechnology.

Part 2: Short Answer Questions
Select two (2) of the following writing prompts and answer them in a short statement (250 words or fewer). You are encouraged to use these prompts to provide new information to the Admissions Committee and to not repeat content already provided in your Personal Statement.
1) Describe a time you were challenged in an academic course. What strategies did you use to overcome that challenge?
2) Describe the process you used to teach yourself a new skill outside of an academic experience.
3) Describe a situation where you were not treated fairly on the basis of your identity, or a situation where you personally observed such a situation for someone else. How did you handle it? Would you have done anything differently?
