MUSICAL PLURALISM AND EXCELLENCE IN WORSHIP

ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
Those serving in worship ministry face continuous challenges in the areas of music selection and
excellence in presentation on a weekly basis. Understanding the concept of musical pluralism
and excellence will aid the student in conveying their philosophy of music and Christian worship
to their congregation.

INSTRUCTIONS
The student will write a 5-page paper on the topics of musical pluralism and excellence in
musical presentation in the church. Present your paper in a manner that will offer a means of
discipling your congregation in a deeper understanding of these two vital subjects (musical pluralism and excellence in musical presentation in the church) that are facing
today’s church, offering support from at least 5 scholarly sources, including the course texts and
the Bible.

The current version of Turabian formatting must be used, including a title page and bibliography,
including the course text and the Bible.

Spirit-filled employers will treat their employees justly (6:9).

Psalm 33:3 says, “Sing a new song to the Lord, play skillfully before Him, and shout for joy.”
