Students will write a short essay of 400-600 words reflecting on their previous experiences in tap (if any), and how their perception of tap has changed after completing the assigned readings by Robyn Watson and Thomas DeFrantz. Think about your relationship to tap dance, how you learned to tap, and what you know (or don’t know) about tap history. This will be graded Pass/Fail.
