1) Look up and report on the level of crime in your community. Use the UCR, local police statistics, or victimization data. What are the major crime categories?

1) Think about the public health model of crime prevention and your neighborhood. Make a list of specific primary and secondary prevention activities you see and/or know about in your neighborhood.
Chapter 3
1) Using the library or the Internet, find articles or reports (these must be academic sources, not just something someone posted to the web that has not been peer-reviewed) that are examples of a process evaluation and an impact evaluation of a prevention initiative. What does each tell you? What questions does each raise for you?
