You are to choose a sports supplement that you want to learn more about. Pretend you are a lay person wanting to find information about this supplement. Where would you go? Most people go to supplement stores or the internet for information. In this portion of the project you are gathering claims and lay information about the supplement. Please see attached instruction sheet.
Step 1 requires THREE commercial websites (i.e. .com, .net sites such as www.bodybuilding.com) that the average consumer might access (think in terms of these consumers researching things they know nothing about at all, where might they go to find this information?)
Step 2 requires FIVE peer-reviewed journal articles (use PubMed, Google Scholar, Academic Search Premier, or any other journal database) to either refute or support the claims you found and made in Step 1.
Only acceptable file submission types: .doc, .docx, .pdf and the provided SSP1 Template Submission Form below is the ONLY acceptable type of document that will be accepted. Do not create your own or alter the existing document features. Doing so will result in a 5 point deduction for failure to follow directions (not using the provided template). Type your answers right into the word doc. You may save & submit it as either a word doc or PDF.
