Many of us struggle with work, asking questions like these: Why do we work? Is our work meaningful? At the same time, many of us struggle with work/rest balance, asking questions like these: How much should I work? How much must I work? What do I do when I don’t work? What will I do when I retire form work?

Explain how you’re understanding of dignity inform what you think is meaningful work?
How does my understanding of dignity inform what I think is meaningful rest (time off from work – what Heschel and Berry call “sabbath”)?
How does my understanding of dignity inform how I think work and rest (“sabbath”) inform each other?
Basic Requirements
Four groups of three slides (13 slides in total), structured in the follow ways:

First Group: Introductory Slides: Slide 1 should be an image that represents your PowerPoint show; also include your name. Slide two: present the question you’ve chosen along with one or more images that enhance the question. Slide three: present your “thesis” (your answer to the question) in one sentence, along with one or more images that enhance the thesis.
Second Group: Your understanding of dignity, drawing on one or more sources that we read together in Modules 1-3. Include one or more images that enhance the slides.
Third Group: Your understanding of work or rest or the interplay of work and rest (depends on which question you chose: 1, 2, or 3), drawing on the appropriate source (s): Berry, Heschel, Or, and/or Sayers. Include one or more images that enhance the slides.
Fourth Group: Making the connection between the second group and the third group. This set of slides should bring you back to your thesis. Include one or more images that enhance the slides.

Less is better!
For this course, do not use hypertext links to files/pages/videos. SpeedGSpeedGrader cannot read URLs. In other environments (e.g. presenting at work place where your Pp can access the internet), hypertext links might be a great idea.
You will also engage in peer review on this assignment. If you complete the PPT on time, your PPT will be assigned to one of your classmates for review, and you will be assigned to review one of your classmates’ PPT. Attend carefully to the due dates. You must submit the PPT both here and in the peer review assignment, due at the same time.
