Instructions are: Lesson one (1) introduced the ways in which we can approach propaganda as a complex phenomenon not only concerned with truths and mistruths but also a ubiquitous part of our everyday life. After studying the various facets of propaganda in lesson 1, elaborate your understanding of this perspective in relation to the language and images used in the media that you consume. Use one example from your use of media to elaborate your answer.
Then consider the long history of propaganda that (Lesson 2) ‘The History of propaganda’ lays out. Using one example from that lesson answer the following question: ‘How do you believe very early (pre-World War 1) techniques of propaganda inform the propaganda that you see today?’
