Social workers’ ability to formulate coherent treatment plans must also have a coherent theoretical framework from which the treatment plans are formed. In this paper you will discuss what your theoretical orientation as (to date), how you understand how problems emerge in client’s lives, what are the obstacles to change, and what role you play as a social worker in the change process.
