we talked about several theories that explain how siblings from the same family genetic pool and/or same environment can be very different.
If you have siblings, you grew up with: What are two differences you see between you and your siblings.
If you have no siblings or don’t want to talk about your family: Think of another family you are familiar with enough to see and explain two sibling differences.
With these differences in mind, chose one of the following theories to describe each difference. You can use the same theory to explain both or a different theory for each.
Multi-Factorial Transmission
Genotype- Environment Correlation
Shared vs. Non-shared environment
Bandura’s Triadic Reciprocal
Determinism
Use the theory to briefly (in a paragraph or two per difference) explain the differences you see. (6 pts.)
(If you or a person you are discussing are adopted or stepsiblings most of these theories still apply, but the environment may be the only factor you are considering)
