For this assignment, I would like for you to write three body paragraphs on the following topics:
How we change/remain the same biologically throughout the lifespan
How we change/remain the same cognitively throughout the lifespan
How we change/remain the same psychosocially throughout the lifespan
Please ensure that you touch upon these topics as they related to childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and late adulthood. In the body paragraph, you will tell me how we physically change as we venture through these different phases of life. Your second body paragraph should explain how we changed cognitively throughout the lifespan. Your third body paragraph should detail how we change psychosocially throughout the lifespan.
Additionally, you should also have an introductory paragraph and a conclusion paragraph. Thus, you should have a minimum of 5 paragraphs in this paper.
I would suggest that you pick one subtopic in each of those general areas to use as your running example. For instance, perhaps for biological development, you could discuss the development of the skeletal system throughout the lifespan (i.e., growth spurts in childhood to the development of osteoporosis in old age). When discussing cognitive development, you might discuss how memory changes throughout the lifespan. And perhaps for psychosocial development, you discuss temperament and personality development across the lifespan.
This paper will be graded on content, grammar/spelling, and word count. This paper should have a minimum of 5 paragraphs in total (1 introduction paragraph, 3 body paragraphs, and 1 conclusion paragraph). The paper must also be typed as a Microsoft Office Word document and a minimum of 500 words in length, double-spaced, and in Times New Roman 12-point font. I will also be using Turnitin to check for plagiarism (if you are unsure what plagiarism is, please contact me). You should only have to use your textbook for this assignment. Do not use direct quotes in this paper, instead, you should paraphrase your reference material.
