Assignment 1 – Due September 18th 2022 – Looking at the job market
Look through job listings and get a sense of the jobs for the career path that you plan on pursuing. Things like entry level jobs and what that will lead to, higher level jobs. What is the pay at these different levels? What are the skills these employers are looking for? Are there a lot of jobs in this field?
Then I would like you to look at jobs in GIS. What are the different paths with this skill? What fields is it used in? what is entry level pay? What does growth in in a career like this look like?
This should be around 2 pages. I want you to look realistically at how this part of your life, college, is a part of your future.
