2) Using the Notes and the additional resources, how does the educational system create and fortify inequalities in gender, race, social class, and sexuality.
Be specific with what ideas you are using from what resources.
Reflect on your own time in doctor’s offices/hospitals and in school and discuss what memories you have in those settings. Looking back on those experiences, now knowing what you know now about oppressions, what did you experience or witness in these settings that may be considered racist, classist, sexist, homophobic?
Ask friends or family about their experiences and discuss them here (keep them anonymous). Try to find people of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexualities, social classes…
