Choose an Organizational Challenge
In this course you will choose an organizational challenge that needs to be addressed by developing a health system informatic implementation plan. These are all situations in which you will play the role of a senior level administrator who is requesting the data or you’re a senior data analyst and put your knowledge of health systems informatics to good use. Each organizational challenge represents a significant and distinct challenge.
Your Task
Review the organizational challenges and select one that you would like to address over the next 8 weeks for your course project. You may also create your own challenge to address with a health system informatic implementation plan.

Challenge 7
The pandemic instantly changed how providers used telehealth. Many went from never or rarely providing telehealth services to 80% of visits during the height of the pandemic. But as in person visits are allowed the momentum of telehealth is significantly decreasing. Your organization wants to understand if no show rates were impacted by offering telehealth and the financial implications. What data is required to evaluate no show rates for in person and telehealth encounters, the financial outcome of decrease in no show appointments and the provider productivity increase
