This module provides an introduction to dance in our contemporary society. In addition, you will learn how to describe, analyze, and evaluate dance and write a Concert Critique.
For this module you will need to do the following:
Read Chapter 8 “Dancing in the New Millenium” (skip)
View all five dances on the module pages
Read Concert Critique Guidelines
Submit Concert Critique
Choose one of the dances you viewed in this module.
Read the “Concert Critique Guidelines” and submit your paper.
Rubric:
-Introduction: 10%
-Description: 20%
-Analysis: 20%
-Evaluation: 20%
-Conclusion: 10%
Grammar, organization, spelling: 20% (so be sure to proofread!)
