basically, you have to write a report on why the yeast mixed with regular sugar, and sweet-ner made the balloon blow up more or less or sitting in almost boiling water. we added 3gs ye-ast to both tubes, fill both tubes with 7mls of water, we then added 4g of the sucrose (regular sugar to only one tube, then we added artifical sweetner to the other, same measurments.both were mixed well then we placed a 24cm balloon on the tubes then tubes where placed into 40-50 celsius pot. we measured the balloons before they where placed which was 24cm, both tubes boiled 10 minutes, the regular sugar ballons results where: inital-24cm final-27cm with lots of bubbles from the yeast in the tube, the sweetner was 24cm initally, the final was 25cm with little bubbles.
