Approaches To Social Research discussion

For this graded discussion you have two tasks:
Based on your assigned reading for this week, describe an unethical study that could have been prevented by the existence of an IRB. (CITE THE PAGE NUMBER FROM THE TEXT). In your opinion, did this study produce important knowledge, even if it was unethical? What other (ethical) ways might this knowledge be found?

Examples of how to respond include asking for clarification on particular points, providing additional information that contributes to your classmate’s overall argument, and providing information that may challenge your classmate to expand their argument.
