Contacting Prospective Interviewee Letter

This assignment aligns with Learning Outcomes 1, 2, 8, and 13.
This assignment is designed to prepare you for completing Assignment: Informational Interview & Paper due at the end of Module 8. You should read Assignment Introduction: Informational Interview & Paper (previously introduced in this module) prior to completing this assignment.
For this assignment, find someone in your career field of interest that you would like to interview and craft a letter asking for an interview. Assignment Introduction: Informational Interview & Paper provides detailed instructions about individuals who would be good to contact as an interviewee prospect. As explained in Chapter 6 on page 158, this letter should introduce yourself, explain your reason for the interview (which is not to seek employment, so make that clear), state your available times to meet, and then promise to follow-up via telephone. There is a great example letter to assist you in constructing your letter in Chapter 6.
When you submit this letter, it should be typed, free of grammatical errors, contain the information outlined above, and set a professional tone.
