For the assignment for ages 0-2 years, you will be graded on these elements in your paper:
Describe the development of (provide evidence of changes in) your child’s physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional skills over the first 2 years.
Discuss how these changes in skills might be affecting his or her interactions with you and your partner.
Include a minimum of two environmental events in your child’s first 2 1/2 years that you think might have influenced his or her behavior, including how you think these events may have influenced your child.
Submit this paper in an essay format (paper), answering questions (~2-3 pages – i.e., not less than 2 pages not more than 3 pages) that explains and describes your child’s behavior with supporting examples.
Descriptions and explanations of the child’s behavior need to relate to the concepts, theories and research covered in class or in the book. Please avoid expressing an unfounded opinion – try to base your arguments on research studies and conclusions, or a theory that seems well supported by the research in the field.
You must work on these questions on your own (without the help of others and without cheating or plagiarizing (see Academic Integrity section on syllabus and blackboard).
You are free to submit unlimited attempts, however I will only grade the last attempt.
This paper must be submitted in APA format (double-spaced, 12-point size font with one (1) inch margins, and reflect APA criteria for grammar, spelling, mechanics, organization, page numbering, citation, and referencing)
Must be submitted in a WORD document ONLY. If it is not submitted in a WORD document or I am unable to open (read) the document, it will be graded as zero and then graded as late when I receive the document in word.
