Papers will be 2-3 pages in length (a minimum of 2 pages and a maximum of 3 pages), double-spaced
with standard formatting and text size (1” margins and 12-font) with proper style referencing.
References must come from reputable and scholarly sources. Students must draw on at minimum two
outside reputable or scholarly sources. The title page and bibliography are to be included on additional
pages for a total of 4-5 pages.

Your assignment will be graded on content as well as the quality of your writing. Is your paper clear
and concise, is it well prepared and organized, is it readable, creative, insightful, and interesting to
read? Is your paper written in a logical sequence with clarity of sentences and paragraphs? Does
the content indicate a synthesis of ideas, original thought, and ability to develop ideas by drawing
on reputable and scholarly sources to support your ideas? Have you used correct grammar and
spelling? Is it free of distracting spelling, punctuation, grammatical errors, fragmented and run-on
sentences? Have you written a university level paper? Do you illustrate a strong knowledge and
understanding of the material through your description, analysis, and application?
