This major assignment is due by 11:59pm on Sunday. Compose an 6-8 page research paper that engages with one of the texts we read this semester (so either Jane Eyre or Their Eyes Were Watching God) OR an outside, equivalent text. Please email me if you are interested in completing a research project on another book.
Your final project should engage in an in-depth critical analysis of the binaries, images, symbols, etc. in your text. Consider the historical, political, theoretical influences that inform the work your paper engages. Use the knowledge you built this semester to fuel and focus this assignment.
