All are called to live a life that is faithful to God’s mission in the world. Discovering that call comes in many forms, from corporate inventories to spiritual discernment. How do the teachings of Jesus from the Gospel according to Matthew reflect the need for all people to understand their vocational leanings as a call from God to do justice and love mercy with the poor, the widows, and the marginalized? As you consider this, it may be important to also consider who else is being marginalized in our American culture today, and how your sense of vocation might serve the mission of God to love your neighbor and bring about God’s Kingdom on earth.
